Basic Diabetes Management Skills Class 

Every alternate Tuesday starting from 18th March, Central Singapore Diabetes Education and Care Centre (Blk 22, Boon Keng Road #01-15), 9.30am - 11.30am

The class provides self-management skills education and supportive counselling for diabetics and their family members. Topics include overview of diabetes, self blood glucose monitoring, medications, dietary and label reading and counselling for newly diagnosed diabetics. Free blood glucose test for all participants! Community Life Arts Programme (CLAP!)
23 Mar, Whampoa CC Hall, 300 Whampoa Drive, 8 pm)
CLAP! will present a Teochew opera titled" Wu Han Sha Qi" performed by the Teochew Drama Association. Presented by Central Singapore CDC and Whampoa CCMC. The opera is a tale of imperial intrigue, of usurping traitors and a crown prince's eventual reclaiming of his throne with his loyal supporters.
eClub@Bishan North IT Carnival cum Community Centre Anniversary

NKF Health Screenings 

29 - 30 Mar, Toa Payoh HDB Hub Atrium, 11am - 6pm
Committed to battling the spread of life-threatening kidney and other related diseases through prevention, the National Kidney Foundation will be conducting health screenings for a nominal fee of $5. Worth more than $60, it includes blood glucose and blood cholesterol tests, blood pressure measurement, waist hip ratio, body fat analysis and body mass index.

NYP Health and Wellness Fair 
12 Apr, School of Health Sciences, Nanyang Polytechnic, 9am to 1pm
Co-organised by the Central Singapore CDC and Nanyang Polytechnic, residents can expect free health screening, stress management talks, healthy cooking demonstrations and contests etc at this fair. Families can look forward to a fun-filled and enriching experience too!
